A survey of the physical sciences designed to give the non-science major a basic understanding of mechanics, heat, waves, sound, light, electricity, magnetism, and atomic theory. Includes topics in astronomy and earth science. Lab included. Prerequisite: place into ENGL& 101, or C or better or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 99.
