SPAN& 121 - Spanish I: D

A proficiency-based course in Spanish, which includes pronunciation, fundamentals of grammar, syntax, oral and written exercises, reading and conversation; taught with varied foreign language teaching methods. An appreciation for cultural aspects of Spanish speaking countries is emphasized. Oral practice is encouraged. For students who have not previously studied Spanish or for those who need a refresher course. Prerequisite: place into ENGL 98, or C or better or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 97.
