Course Description: A learner-focused course designed to orient students to the I-BEST and Professional/Technical certificate and degree programs; resources and services; to appraise students’ current abilities, characteristics, backgrounds, and interests; and to help students set long-term and short-term goals and create a plan of action to meet those goals.

- Barrier identification with strategies, recommendations, and interventions for improvement.
- Student’s long-term and short-term goals and identification of the skills needed to reach those goals.
- A plan of action for the student to achieve the goals (personal learning/action plan).
