• Humanities Distribution Requirement

1. Develop an understanding and command of contextually and culturally appropriate utterances in written and spoken Chinese.
2. Discover and practice aspects of the language that differ from his/her own, such as the tonal nature of the spoken language and the logographic written system, and develop both listening and reading comprehension.
