Course Description: Continuation of ENVC 211. Finish ecological sampling projects by analyzing, interpreting, and reporting results.

Prerequisite: ENVC 211 with a C or higher.
Meets FQE Requirement: No
Integrative Experience Requirement: No

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Store and process sampling data in industry-standard software.
  2. Describe data with descriptive statistics. 
  3. Visually represent data with graphs.
  4. Communicate the sampling process, results, and implications to peers and stakeholders.

Course Contents
  1. All literature used for the course will be researched by the student. The course is a three-step process.
  2. A proposal is written, which is returned to the student for correction, and the proposal is resubmitted.
  3. The student performs the field work.
  4. Data collection, data manipulation and presentation through graphs and tables.
  5. A final report is written and turned in for review.
  6. The report is returned to the student for final completion before submission to the instructor.
