Course Description: Capstone research project to be worked on in stages throughout the ENVC program. Conduct scientific research to answer a question relevant to natural resources management including conception and design, data collection and analysis, and reporting of results.

Prerequisite: Admission to BASEC or Department Chair permission.

Apply prior knowledge to the conception and design of a scientific study.
Identify and carry out the appropriate methods to answer a scientific question.
Identify and execute appropriate data analysis, including descriptive and inferential statistics.

Write a scientific manuscript to report the research process, results, and implications.
Present the research process, results, and implications to peers and stakeholders.
