Course Description: Using GIS software, develop and execute a pre-approved GIS project. Covers defining project goals, project management, conducting background research, map development and layout, and presenting the results.

Prerequisite: GIS 102 with a C or higher.

  1. Apply GIS skills to development and execution of a project that solves a real-world GIS problem.
  2. Conduct a stakeholder needs assessment or background research to inform project direction.
