Course Description: This course is designed to help students demonstrate high school competencies in fulfillment of HS21+ diploma requirements through completion of individual portfolio assignments.
Prerequisite: Completion of CCB 018 and Permission. Meets FQE Requirement: No Integrative Experience Requirement: No
Student Learning Outcomes
- Identify HS21+ graduation requirements needed and create a plan to fulfill them through competency-based assessments aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards.
- Compile evidence through a reflective portfolio that documents prior knowledge, learning experiences and projects completed to demonstrate competency for HS21+ diploma requirements.
Course Contents
- Explore and document personal, professional, and educational goals.
- Identify HS21+ graduation requirements needed and propose a plan to fulfill them through competency-based assessments aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards and the Washington State Adult Learning Standards.
- Use computer skills/programs for academic purposes such as word processing, email, and learning management systems.
- Compile evidence through a reflective portfolio assessment process that documents academic growth, increased proficiency in, and knowledge of content area skills.
