Course Description: A diversity intensive course that examines historical information related to the development of our multiethnic society. Ethnic privilege, prejudice, racism, discrimination, and basic human rights are reviewed. Required course for both Human Services degrees (including fast track students).

  4. Apply cross-cultural communication strategies and skills appropriate to a given context.
