Course Description: Pronunciation, vocabulary development, reading and writing of Hiragana, fundamentals of grammar and syntax, oral exercises, reading, conversation, and cultural studies.

Prerequisite: Grade of 2.0 or higher in ENGL 097, or AESL 098, or appropriate test score.
