Course Description: Introduction to basic and advanced video editing techniques. Use Adobe Premiere Pro to create import, edit and export digital video using transitions, compositing and other advanced effects.
Prerequisite: Strongly Recommended: Computer literacy and file management skills. Meets FQE Requirement: No Integrative Experience Requirement: No

- Understand the Adobe Premiere Pro workspace and nonlinear video editing capabilities.
- Set up video editing projects.
- Learn shortcuts for choosing project settings.
- Import and organize raw video footage for editing.
- Use transitions, compositing, and other advanced video effects.
- Edit, mix, sweeten and incorporate sound and audio in a video project.
- Incorporate typography, text, and titles into a video project.
- Export video projects using the Adobe Media Encoder.
