Course Description: Introduction to a broad range of tools and fastener types and procedures and cultivate safe shop and workplace practices in the marine maintenance industry.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate safe and proper hand and power tool use by following manufacturer guidelines and procedures.
- Identify, select, and install common fastener types using accepted industry practices and techniques.
- Select and apply adhesives and bedding compounds using correct product procedures.
