Course Description: Apply the features of Microsoft PowerPoint for PCs to design, create, edit, and format slide presentations; add graphical enhancements to slide content; apply transitions and animations; add sound and video; prepare notes and handouts; and customize and run a slide show.
Prerequisite: Strongly Recommended: Basic computer and file management skills and the ability to type by touch. Meets FQE Requirement: No Integrative Experience Requirement: No

- Create, navigate, and work with presentations in normal, outline, slide sorter, and slide show view.
- Enter, edit, and format slide text.
- Format and modify slide objects and content.
- Add action buttons and hyperlinks for easy slide navigation.
- Enhance slides with graphical elements (pictures, shapes, WordArt, SmartArt diagrams, charts, and screenshots).
- Create, format, and modify tables.
- Create, edit, and format a photo album.
- Customize Slide Masters to affect the design of multiple slides within a presentation.
- Apply transitions, animations, motion paths, and builds to slides, content, and objects.
- Set up, customize, and run a slide show using slide show tools.
- Insert and customize audio and video files.
