Course Description: This course combines the benefits of cardiovascular or aerobic training with the benefits of weight training.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Exercise at an intensity to elicit cardiovascular and strength benefits.
- Demonstrate improved strength, muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance.
- Execute correct technique on each weight machine.
- Understand target heart rates for diverse age groups and the F.I.T. principle. F-Frequency (4-6 exercise periods/week). I-Intensity (THR 60-80% of maximum heart rate). T-Time (30 minutes or more).
- Enjoy participating in aerobic fitness and weight training activities.
- Recognize aerobic fitness as a lifetime activity.
