PE 135 - Beginning Karate Credits: (1) Course Description: Learn basic Japanese karate stances, blocks, strikes, and kicks and their applications in varying combinations, individually and with partners. Practice of karate helps students improve or maintain physical strength, endurance, and flexibility. Emphasis is on proper form and safety.
