PE 170 - Paddling

Course Description: Basics of safe and effective paddling. This course will leave you feeling very comfortable paddling in a team sport environment. Maneuvering, safety considerations, and tides will be covered. Development of specific knowledge about the Dragon Boat sport in the areas of terminology, history, basic strategies, and other concepts relevant to the sport. No prior knowledge or experience necessary.
