Course Description: This course is designed for students who are interested in student leadership and how they can expand their knowledge in the following areas of: leadership theories, communication skills, integrity and ethical values, and improve their leadership skills.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Effectively use self reflection techniques to identify styles of leadership and how to effectively work with others of different leadership styles.
- Be able to effectively work in a group environment in order to accomplish projects in a professional manner.
- Improve or incorporate new abilities to leadership and ethical values and how to use those skills to improve campus and general communities.
Course Contents
- Studets will take an in depth look at leadership theories and practices and gain a better understanding of various leadership styles.
- Students will learn effective and professional communication skills essential to work in diverse work enviromets in order to accomplish group and individual goals or projects.
- Students will gain a better understanding of integrity and ethical values through group discussions and classroom lessons.
- Students will develop the ability to self reflect on individual leadership styles and how to identify other to work together effectively.
- Students will be given tools to learn how to commuicate in a professional manner through non verbal, verbal anf written communication.
- Students will learn how to effectively work in group projects and be challanged in different leadership roles within a group atmosphere.
- Students will feel challenged and engaged through group discussion. Studets will learn how to formulate their thoughts and views into projects.
- Students will understand the importance of leadership in higher education and basic foundations of how to be an effective leader.
