Course Description: A continuation of Spanish 122. The grammar is more complicated, and more verb tenses are introduced. Oral comprehension and speaking skills are still emphasized through daily oral practice, as well as reading and writing exercises. The textbook, workbook, and lab manuals are the same as Spanish 121 and 122.

Prerequisite: SPAN& 122 with a C or higher or two years of High School Spanish with a C or higher.

Course Contents
  1. Vocabulary: continued real life situational words and expressions.
  2. Grammar: more complex verb structures, the perfect tenses, the subjunctive mood, & the conditional and future tenses.
  3. Culture: further cultural study.
  4. Pronunciation: mastery of Spanish sound system and more accurate intonation.
  5. Oral proficiency: increasing ability to use vocabulary and language structures in conversation.
