Course Description: This course covers topics in financial literacy and personal finances.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate financial literacy.
- Recognize the long-term financial impact of career choice.
- Understand how to read a pay stub and describe the purpose of each deduction.
- Track income and expenses in order to prepare monthly budgets.
- Evaluate credit terms and options for credit cards, loans, and mortgages and calculate cost of credit.
- Understand various savings options and the impact of compound interest.
- Understand terms of health, auto and home insurance and compare various policies to meet personal needs.
- Understand federal, state and local taxes and describe programs and services funded by those taxes.
