Course Description: In this course, students will be introduced to college and career pathways. Students will explore different kinds of discourses. Students will acquire contextualized English language skills. Students will learn about the United States higher education system and identify college resources and support services, culminating in designing a life and education plan that reflects their college, career, and personal goals. Students will receive study skills instruction contextualized to co-enrolled courses.
Prerequisite: Receive a P grade in ELA 015/ESOL 053 (or placement into ELA 018 or ELA 095) with concurrent enrollment in ELA 034 and ELA 045. Meets FQE Requirement: No Integrative Experience Requirement: No
