FIRE 213 - Fire & Life Safety Education

1. Communicate orally and in writing, manage time, multitask.  
2. Document public fire and life safety educational activities.  
3. Identify community resources, services, and organizations.  
4. Identify partners to address current fire and life safety issues.
5. Select instructional materials so that the materials are specific to the audience and objectives.
6. Present and adapt a lesson, given a lesson plan with multiple presentation methods, evaluation instruments, time allotment, setting, and identified audience, so that the lesson plan is followed, the objectives are met, and the needs of the audience are satisfied.  
7. Administer an evaluation instrument so that lesson outcomes are measured.
8. PROGRAM OUTCOME: Students will possess a knowledge and skill set that allows them to be effective in preventing hostile fire emergencies occurring in their community.
