Course Description: This course continues topics covered in high school algebra and completes all HS math requirements for the HS+ diploma.

Prerequisite: Completion of HSC 018 or Permission AND one of the following: completion of CCB 043, CASAS Math Goals score 236-250, or placement based on HS transcripts.

Add, subtract, multiply, divide, and simplify rational expressions
Plot points, sketch, and describe the graphs of quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic functions

Solve quadratic functions, equations, and inequalities
Know and use the basic properties of exponential and logarithmic functions in order to solve them
Construct new functions using transformations
Calculate and interpret measures of variability, standard deviation, and margin of error
