Course Description: This course explores the historical and cultural context of current world problems using methods of Theater of the Oppressed and/or other art forms.
Prerequisite: HSC 018 or ELA 018 with a C or higher (or concurrent enrollment). Meets FQE Requirement: No Integrative Experience Requirement: No

- Evaluate how individuals and movements have shaped contemporary world issues.
- Evaluate relationships between key ideals and historical and current realities.
- Examine systems that have disadvantaged marginalized or traditionally underserved populations.

- Examination of current world problems and/or problems throughout history that have disproportionately affected marginalized or traditionally underserved populations.
- Production and exhibition of art that explores world problems.
