Course Description: Explore critical aspects of ethics and compliance in data management, including data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA, and regulatory frameworks like HIPAA, FERPA, and GLBA. Designed for data professionals, the ethical responsibilities inherent in managing and analyzing data are emphasized, including the safeguarding of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), mitigating risks associated with data handling, and understanding the implications of algorithmic bias.
