Course Description: Utilize the systems and planning tools used in manufacturing. Develop and deploy a product program within an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Apply practical applications of material requirement planning (MRP), and aggregate planning.
Prerequisite: BASPD Director permission. Meets FQE Requirement: No Integrative Experience Requirement: No
Student Learning Outcomes
- Utilize graphical and quantitative planning techniques.
- Develop master scheduling plans using ERP and MRP systems.
- Translate a master production schedule into material requirements in support of necessary production builds.
- Utilize the benefits and requirements of MRP as it relates to production material requirements.
- Operate an Enterprise Resource Planning system in support of production planning.
