Course Description: Engage in a professional learning community with other students engaged in their student teaching experience. Together the group will reflect on their experiences, identify areas for growth, and write a professional growth plan. Additional topics include professional ethics, and the use of data in planning instruction.

Prerequisite: ECED 430 with a C or higher.

Reflect on their own teaching practice by reviewing lesson plan goals, assessing student achievement, and planning how to improve next time.
Employ Teacher and Principal Evaluation Program self-assessment tool to analyze and reflect on their practice.
Use feedback and data to build and implement a professional growth plan aligned with their needs and priorities.
Proactively seek and utilize professional, community, and technological resources both within and outside the school.
Use professional standards, codes of conduct, and relevant laws and policies, as guidance in understanding the expectations of the teaching profession.
Use data to make decisions in classroom planning and instruction.
Discuss pedagogical practice with peers, including giving and receiving constructive feedback.
