Course Description: Students will develop interdisciplinary curriculum units that encourage children to analyze complex issues, apply content knowledge to real-world problems, and question assumptions across multiple subject areas. Students will use knowledge taught about Since Time Immemorial curriculum in previous courses to create authentic, culturally relevant lessons for children.

Prerequisite: ECED 461 with a C or higher.

Create lessons to include Since Time Immemorial content that incorporates tribal culture, history, and government.
Construct learning experiences that simultaneously develop English language proficiencies and discipline-specific knowledge in science or social studies.
Plan a diverse set of learning activities that integrate a literacy standard and content area standard that will prepare a diverse group of learners to meet those standards.
