Course Description: Students are assigned to various community sites to provide services within the scope of dental therapy practice, and work on community oral health promotion projects.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Dental Therapy (DT) coursework from previous quarter. Meets FQE Requirement: No Integrative Experience Requirement: No
Student Learning Outcomes
- Collaborate with health professionals and staff at community rotation sites.
- Provide quality care within the dental therapy scope of practice.
- Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior as defined in dəxʷx̌ayəbus Dental Therapy Handbook.
- Write a reflection essay to learn from community rotations experiences and identify ways to improve future performance.
