Course Description: ESOL Level 2-1 (Beginning ELA) students improve English listening, speaking, reading, and writing and comprehension with a goal to develop college and career readiness skills. Prepares students for transition to ESOL 22.

Prerequisite: Receive a P grade in ESOL 13 or ELA 11 (or placement into ESOL 21 or equivalent).
