Course Description: Discussion and critical analysis of student experiences in their various clinical experience placements. Topics include legal concepts, professionalism, aspects of culture, and application of various pharmacy skills. Job search readiness includes finding jobs, completing applications, developing effective resumes and interviewing skills.
Prerequisite: AHE 134 and AHE 135 with a grade of C or higher. Concurrent enrollment in AHE 136 and AHE 137 required.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Identify the technician’s responsibilities within a pharmacy’s prescription processing workflow, including intake, data entry, dispensing, verification, and patient counseling roles.
- Apply classroom knowledge of pharmacology, medication safety, pharmacy law, and calculations to accurately perform inpatient and outpatient pharmacy tasks.
- Discuss the daily interpersonal professional interactions at the practice site.
- Analyze a job posting to create a resume to highlight relevant strengths and meet workforce expectations.
- Search effectively for employment resources.
- Demonstrate effective interview techniques.
