Course Description: Performance of choral music in various styles and genres, including non-European traditions, in an advanced academic setting.

Prerequisite: Grade of 2.0 or higher in ENGL 097, or EAP 098, or appropriate test score. Instructor’s permission required; placement by audition only.

Sing the notes of several compositions, with and without accompaniment, in performance.
Demonstrate improvement in music reading ability through practice, performance, and individual and group assessment.
