The College and Career Bridge program puts students on a pathway toward their desired college major and career. Adults returning to school after a break of several years or who are seeking to improve academic skills receive quality and supportive instruction to help gain the reading, writing, math, and academic skills needed to succeed in college-level courses.
Course Options
CCB English
Pre-college English prepares students for entry into college-level English courses in a supportive, student-friendly environment.
CCB Math
Pre-college math prepares students for entry into college-level math courses in a supportive, student-friendly environment.
I-BEST
I-BEST classes and programs are designed to help students succeed! Students can pursue progressional technical certificates or degrees or complete general education degree requirements such as ENGL& 101 - English Composition I , CHEM& 121 - Intro to Chemistry , or college math classes.
Students in I-BEST classes benefit from:
- An Integrated Approach: I-BEST classes utilize a team-teaching model where one instructor focuses on the required content of a a course, while the other instructor provides academic support in reading, writing, and math to enhance student learning.
- Targeted Support: I-BEST classes provide targeted support for students in reading, writing, math, and learning strategies.
- Free Support Class: Most I-BEST classes utilize a free support class. Students meet with their I-BEST instructor regularly to work on class assignments and strengthen basic skills.

In-person assistance for registering is available at:
- Mount Vernon Campus: Lewis Hall at the Admissions Desk.
- Oak Harbor Campus: Oak Hall at the Admissions Desk.
What is the Cost?
CCB tuition is $25 per quarter. You may take more than one CCB class at no extra cost. A tuition waiver is available for those who qualify.
Students enrolled in I-BEST pay regular tuition for the college courses, but do not pay for the CCB support class. Financial aid may be available for those who qualify.
