MANF 156 - Introduction to Automated Systems(5) Overview of how electronic and mechanical systems are used in the design and manufacture of products and processes. Using electronic principles and test equipment, learn how industrial control systems are designed to integrate digital controls in the processing of data. Introduction to microcontrollers, robotic principles, automation systems, motor and servo-control systems. Prerequisite: MANF 150 with a minimum grade of C- or instructor permission.
