College and Career Success Skills (CSS) classes help students adjust to college life and provide students with strategies designed to enhance their academic success.

First Quarter Experience

All new degree seeking students are required to complete a First Quarter Experience class. CSS 103 - First Quarter Experience  and CSS 109 - First Quarter Experience- Career emphasis  are courses designed to meet this requirement. Students explore careers in their Area of Study;  develop an education plan specific to their goals; learn about financial aid options; access college resources; and engage with each other and the college community.
