Courses MIT 105 , MIT 115 , and MIT 205 are taught at the Northwest Career and Technical Academy (NCTA) located at the Mount Vernon campus. College students will sign up for these courses through SVC. All other courses are offered online through the MIT program at SVC. The NCTA follows the K-12 school year calendar. Classes at the NCTA start earlier in September than the online classes; typically the Wednesday after Labor Day. Students are required to maintain a 2.0 grade point average in all required coursework and complete the following:
