ENGR& 114 - Engineering Graphics Credits: (5) Natural Sciences An introduction to graphical communication of two- and three-dimensional product data during the design and development process. Topics include freehand drafting to develop spatial skills, an overview of the design and development process, design for manufacturability, parametric solid and surface modeling, assemblies, manufacturing drawings (e.g., views; geometric dimensioning and tolerancing; etc.), and pre- (e.g., FEA) and post-manufacturing (e.g., metrology) analysis.
Prerequisite: MATH 098 with a grade of C or higher (or placement into MATH 099).
