Explore and apply the concepts, principles, and practices of Operations Management to manufacturing organizations. Examine how goods will be produced, where production will take place, and how manufacturing facilities are laid out. Review how managers utilize data, schedule production activities, and monitor inventory. Explore how managers ensure that production meets specifications and quality standards; and consider the importance of continual improvement, operational effectiveness, and environmentally sustainable practices.

Prerequisite: BASAMD Department Chair permission.
