Overview
The mathematics program offers courses that range from the development of basic skills through college-level topics. Most of the courses are offered in various delivery modes including traditional classroom setting, online eLearning, and hybrid combining both classroom and online experiences.
To satisfy the quantitative requirement for a transfer degree, students need to complete MATH& 107 , MATH& 141 , MATH& 146 , or higher. Enrollment in MATH& 107 or MATH& 146 requires an appropriate placement score or completion of MATH 097 with a grade of C or better. A student who does not meet these requirements but who has completed MATH 096 or CCB 42 with a grade of C or better, or placed into MATH 097, may enroll in MATH& 107 or MATH& 146 if they co-enroll in the corresponding support course (MATH 7 or MATH 46, respectively). Enrollment in MATH& 141 requires an appropriate placement score or completion of MATH 099 with a grade of C or better.
